If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Gweru in Midlands. From the center of Gweru, take the A5 highway heading east towards Masvingo. After approximately 45 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Mucheni Gorge. The turn-off to the gorge is situated near the village of Mucheni. Follow the dirt road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the gorge. Please note that the road may be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

To reach Mucheni Gorge via public transport, you can take a bus from Gweru to the town of Kwekwe which is around 40 kilometers away. Once in Kwekwe, you will need to hire a local taxi or find a shared minibus heading towards Mucheni village. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes, and you should communicate to the driver your destination. Expect to pay a small fee for the taxi ride. After arriving in Mucheni village, you can walk to the gorge, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.
