Walking
From the center of Mutare, head east along Herbert Chitepo Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Airport Road. Cross the intersection and continue straight on the same road, which will turn into Chikanga Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Mu Wheat. When you reach the coordinates 4J43+764, you should see the entrance to Mu Wheat, which is a park area.
Public Transport
From the Mutare Bus Station, take a shared taxi (commonly referred to as a 'kombi') heading towards Chikanga. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Mu Wheat, as they will know the general area. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Chikanga, get off at the nearest stop and then walk east along Chikanga Road for about 1 kilometer. Look for the entrance at the coordinates 4J43+764, which marks the location of Mu Wheat.
