Today is a challenging day as you cross Sele La Pass, the first of the three high passes of the trek. The ascent to the pass is steep and rocky, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Makalu, Chamlang, and the eastern Himalayan range. Descend carefully to Cheram, a small settlement surrounded by alpine meadows and yak pastures, where you will spend the night.
