Best tour we could’ve hoped for ! Zack was an awesome storyteller, historian, and all around swell guy. Took great care of our family group that ranged in age from 73 to 9 to make sure everyone had a great experience. 10 out of 10.

Austin is a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable. It is often rainy in Ketchikan but he was prepared with clear umbrellas for everyone so we could stay dry and not miss seeing anything! Thank you.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the rainforest and the totem poles, which made the experience very interesting. The guide also went out of his way to take us to a salmon shop before returning us to the ship.

I had a 6 hour cruise stop in Ketchikan. I booked this tour thinking it would be a nice way to get out of downtown Ketchikan and still have a few hours left to explore Creek Street on my own. The tour was great and left me the perfect amount of time to do some independent exploring. The guide was very knowledgeable!

Austin was our tour guide and he was a wonderful guide. The rainforest was beautiful, words couldn’t describe it and the totem park was informative and beautiful. My only complaint is that I wish it had been longer but I purposely booked a short tour due to our short time in port. I would love to go back and explore more of the Tongass National Forest.

We just had our tour with Zach Stern as our guide. He was amazing and engaging and involved. All 4 teens did not complain once! We tried new things including drinking “water moss.” We were constantly entertained. The totem history was equally important and entertaining! Zach’s mom raised a fine young man and he clearly learned well from her too! Thanks for a great afternoon!

This is a highlight from our time in AK. Our tour guide, Zach, made the experience since an educational, interactive & fun time. All 4 teens in our group had a great time & asked questions. He went off the path to find different plants & nature to show us. He was covered in dirt by the end of our tour. He even physically showed us how bears fit in cave by crawling in! I would highly recommend this tour to learn about nature. And shout out to Zach's mom who raised an amazing human being!

Zachery Stern is an amazing guide!! He brings unbridled enthusiasm and energy to the outing. He is easily one of the very best guides we’ve encountered over many years of travel and countless tours.

You will be sorry for wasting you time here… Had a bad encounter with the junior totem pole maker. He wanted to fight me because I asked him how much does it cost to make a totem pole that he was making for a client?. with a bad attitude he came up to me and told me that was a personal question to ask. I did tell him that he didn’t need to give me the specifics. All he could’ve did was give me an estimate.. But he continued three times to keep telling me it was a personal question until I had to tell him that I heard him and he doesn’t need to keep saying it. The show was OK. In my opinion. The information on the total poles was the best highlight there. It was more informative and that’s all I have to say. Just don’t ask how much the poles cost to make.

Guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of plant species to us on the rainforest walk. It was an easy walk, peaceful and enjoyable. The totem poles were very cool to see and learn about, our guide told lots of fun stories about them. Not sure I consider the salmon dip and crackers a snack, more like a taste, so don’t go hungry. All in all a nice trip and we enjoyed it.
