    This was a great way to try out surfing! You get out on the water right away but get to practice first in a sheltered area where the waves don't come in. This gives you a good way to practice standing up on the board. After that you head out to where the waves are. Shane and Neal really want to make sure you have a great time. They will help you catch as many waves as you can before you get too tired. If you are a fast learner, they will let you try some more advanced stuff like catching your own waves. I had a great time and got some good surfing advice from them. The water where you are at can be on the shallower side and bumpy, especially if you are able to ride the wave in. I recommend wearing a rashguard and reef shoes. If you don't have reef shoes, they may have some in your size that you can borrow.

    Great experience with Noel, Tom and Chris. Only downfall was we booked a 2 hour lesson and were only given 1 hour. They seemed to think that was all the time we had so I didn’t say anything but maybe this site needs to be updated to list the time as 1 hour? In the end we got a great lesson just wish we had gotten the time we had paid for, per the Viator site

    Great experience and fun time with Shane. He taught me very good the bases so I could be able to catch waves pretty soon! The location was great and we saw some turtles too

    Shane was so accommodating and such a great teacher. My daughter and I were standing up and riding on our very first wave! Shane, passionate for surfing, teaching, and the island really shines through. 10 out of 10, would absolutely recommend.

    We booked a couple of different activities, and this was our favorite BY FAR!! Shane and Captain Neil were AMAZING! My husband and I had a great time learning to surf and caught some good waves!! I almost backed out because I am #1, not a confident swimmer, and #2, not exactly a fit person, but Shane and Captain Neil made this experience so great. They were super knowledgeable, safe, and patient with us. They don't take on more students then they can handle so we got a one on one experience. Both instructors have so much experience you are truly in the best of hands! Seriously, book this, you won't regret it!!
