    My daughter had an amazing experience! Her instructor took his time between riding waves to explain what went right and what to improve on. She rode in many waves successfully! This was her first time surfing and caught on quickly. Since she was the only one signed up for that time frame we were given the suggestion to upgrade to the 1:1 session or change times. I’m glad we did the 1:1 to get the most out of the experience. We would definitely recommend Jacks!

    Booked 2-hour private online for two people. I was called by the surf company, Jack's Surf Lessons, the day of the lesson. They cancelled and reschedule the next day, all due to weather. I totally understood. No worries. I rescheduled for next day. Then, I got called about 5 hours later the same day to cancel what was rescheduled for tomorrow. I suggested we just see what tomorrow brings and they call me in the morning as the weather was already calming down. He said, "okay but I'm not bringing anyone out tomorrow but you can call me." What?! Why would I call if he just said he isn't bringing anyone out. He suggested I call the third party, TripAdvisor, who I booked it through but recognized they were a problem in refunding. Heads up, Jack's Surf Lessons, Trip Advisor doesn't give refunds for a trip I was supposed to take yesterday that the surf company called the day of to reschedule for the next day only to cancel that too. Maybe these guys are good in the water but their model for doing business sucks. If online booking is a known problem, don't offer it because it leaves your customers losing a lot of money.

    We booked based on reviews online and we were not disappointed. Our kids (20, 17, and 15) all enjoyed it! Their instructor Genny was amazing.
