What to expect

In this workshop, Elisavet Rodopoulou will share her family’s tradition on weaving. Participants will get a full immersion into the process of tapestry weaving according to the Tsakonian technique. They will have the opportunity to experiment on a table loom and create their own woven piece by hand using local materials. The participants will also gain practical skills and knowledge of warping, loom set-up and weaving simple and geometrical patterns. The course is suitable for beginners and those with experience.
