What to expect

You will have a small group workshop during which you will learn all the basics of playing the harp including your own harp, made in Wales especially for you, to take home and keep forever as a treasured momento of your time in Wales. At the end of the workshop you will have all the skills to take your International School of Musicians step 1 exam should you choose to do so and receive a certificate in the post after the course. You will learn to play easy popular classics such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Chaconne by Jeremiah Clarke plus lots of traditional tunes from the British Isles. We will also introduce the history of the harp and legends surrounding and the welsh language. We have been running this ever popular course around the country and on cruise ships for the last 4 years and everyone has succeeded. No musical experience necessary. Suitable for ages 16+ - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and have some previous musical experience.

It can be shipped to your home or easily fit in the overhead lockers of aircraft as a personal item. With four years of experience running this course around the country and on cruise ships, it's clear that everyone can succeed in this engaging and fulfilling workshop.
