What to expect
Kaathe Swayambhu Shree Gha Chaitya is a miniature replica of Swayambhunath. It was built around 1650AD and is one of the popular Tibetan pilgrimage site in Kathmandu, Nepal. The stupa is also called Shree Gha-Shanti Ghat Bhajradhatu Mahachaitya or Kathesimbhu stupa or Kashi Swayambhu.[

Thahiti Chowk dates back to the 15th century stupa which is located at its center. The "Thahiti Stupa" is said to have been built by a Tibetan trader who used to live there. There was a hiti (natural water source with a tap built on it) that the trader discovered produced gold coins.

The temple of Seto Machindranath is located in Jana Bahal (also known as Machhindra Bahal). Located at Keltole between Asan and Indra Chok in central Kathmandu, the temple is believed to have been established around the 10th century.
