    The cooking experience at Gregory’s was incredible. Anna led us through many dishes and then we sat outside in her beautiful restaurant to sample it all. It is in a small village in the hills which adds to its charm - also a bit cooler up there - dishes are easy to manage and we will be trying them at home. It was my husbands 60th birthday and they brought out a cake for him - such a thoughtful touch! Great day recommend - a family run business that gives u the feel of the real Greece. 👏

    It was a great experience. Anna was very friendly and easy to talk to. I felt like a learnt a lot and am excited to try these recipes again at home. The town was beautiful and I loved the amazing view while enjoying the food. I would definitely recommend this course to others as a unique way to experience Naxos culture and cuisine.

    This cooking class was absolutely amazing. Anna was lovely and patiently guided us through each step of preparing and cooking traditional Greek food. The cooking class was lots of fun, made even better by enjoying our work while overlooking the nearby towns. I would absolutely reccomend this experience for anyone looking for an authentic Greek food experience in Naxos. Thank you so much Anna and Gregory’s Tavern!

    We loved Anna and we loved her cooking class! It was loads of fun. My wife and I had the best time. The recipes were simple but varied with lots of different kinds of technique and tasks. All the food was delicious but we are still dreaming about the orange pie. What a fun afternoon!

    Great experience for the whole family. We made delicious traditional dishes with a very engaging and experienced host, Anna. We had so much food we couldn’t eat it all! The location in the quaint hillside village was interesting to experience and had a great view of the nearby towns.

You will see the Venetian tower, the table of Otto next to the large cistern, impressive orchards, and the flowery gardens of traditional houses You will become part of our family and we will accompany you to the kitchen of our beautiful tavern, which keeps the traditional recipes of three generations. Grigoris Tavern was started by grandfather Grigoris Vassilakis in 1964, as a traditional tavern/cafe of the village. After we make our recipes, you will enjoy your labor with a delicious meal on the terrace overlooking the beautiful valley of Melanes!
