Customer service is non-existent from both Viator and the tour operator.

Muhannad’s brother Abdullah took us, we had a great experience and it exceeded our expectations. The tour was well thought out and did not feel rushed. Got to see a side of Madinah that a visitor would be unlikely to find on their own. The opportunity to see uhud from this angle was something I’ve never seen considering I’ve been multiple times. I wanted to try something new with my friends and it was so peaceful and serene. Refreshments were offered. The tour guide was very hospitable and knowledgeable. He was able to take us to other locations we wanted to check off our to do list. Overall a wonderful experience and totally worth it.

Our experience was truly EXCELLENT! I was cautiously optimistic when booking this tour but it totally surpassed my expectations.
Abdullah met us at our hotel promptly, and then spent the whole morning showing us all the sites we wanted to see and much more. He was so patient and accommodating of our requests to see certain sights at certain times.
Highlights included seeing kufi inscriptions in stone at hidden spots near the base of mount Uhud, a drive to the peak of mount Uhud where he put out a picnic blanket and cushions and shared his delicious homemade hot sweet tea with us. He also bought us snacks to have there! Other highlights included seeing the historical ruins of the 7 mosques around Khandaq, and the small historical serene masjid Al-Dir (spelling may be incorrect). We loved seeing Masjid Qiblatain and Masjid Quba.
Abdullah also treated us to a lovely breakfast at a quaint restaurant with beautiful date palm trees and picnic tents & tables. The kids especially enjoyed this.
Abdullah was incredibly courteous, kind and pleasant throughout, and we all enjoyed chatting to him throughout the day! We left feeling like we had made a true friend…
Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable tour, everything I could have wanted and more, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Abdullah’s tour to anyone!

What an experience. Muhannad wasn't available but his brother took me solo. He was very flexible and accommodating -- I think I made him late for an appointment because I wanted to see several mosques and I stayed too long up on Mt. Uhud, but he was very kind. The views were extraordinary, and three local Saudis kindly invited me to join them for coffee and dates when they saw me on the summit. Plus you get to see an ancient Arabic inscription at the mountain's base.
His brother doesn't speak great English but he offered a discounted rate (I contacted him directly on WhatsApp and paid in cash), and it was absolutely worth it. The formal rules for non-Muslims like me are that you shouldn't enter the mosques in Medina, so this was a really great alternative.

Excellent tour! The mountains itself was stunning and his driving up the terrain was well done. Most importantly, the tour wasn't rushed at all. After the mountain, he showed us numerous other sites throughout the city, including famous mosques and historical sites. I highly recommend!!

What to expect
Uhud mountain is a grand mountain in the city of the prophet Mohammed. We’ll drive in a Jeep Wrangler to the top of Uhud Mountain. The drive is about 45 minutes. The ride is adventurous and safe. We’ll spend sometime at the summit to enjoy the scenery. Snacks and coffee & tea will be provided. Once we’re ready, we can drive back to Medina.
