5 STARS JUST ISN’T ENOUGH! Even 10 stars is not enough to describe how perfect our experience was with Kasey of Keifer’s Giant Sequoia Tours! First and foremost was the communication with the Keifer’s when we were first planning our private tour was so helpful. Kasey answered all our questions quickly, when he could as there is no cell reception when you’re in the park.
On the day of our tour Kasey picked us up at our lodge in a nice SUV instead of a large van. It may not seem like much but after the full day, everything just felt more personal being in the SUV and a lot more comfortable. He also had snacks and water for us. Plus a large cooler with ice blocks if you wanted to store any lunches and snacks of your own. Another bonus, my wife and I both get motion sickness but had no issues riding with Kasey. Which is astounding because there are some very twisty turny roads you’re traveling on.
Kasey being an ex-park ranger made whole the experience so much better. He was so knowledgeable about the park and the trees themselves. Another huge plus is that he knew all the great places to go to and all the places you didn’t know to go to. He also knows where all the bathrooms are, even one that no one else knows about which totally saved the day when at one location a few bathrooms were closed.
At every location Kasey was quick to grab your phone and take all the pictures you wanted. Oh and bonus, he takes great pictures too!
Ok, I could go on and on about how the Keifer’s Giant Sequoia Tours made our day perfect, but why don’t you find out for yourselves? Bottom line, I can’t recommend this private tour enough. Kasey just makes it easy. He’s so easy going, friendly and REALLY wants you to have a great time enjoying the beautiful nature of the park. It allows you to sit back and relax knowing that you’re being taken care of by a true professional.

Nothing like having a private tour with an experienced ex-Park Service person! A light snow while visiting the Sequoia Forest added to the magic of the place. Kasey's knowledge of the plant species and park history made the trip an educational experience. We highly recommend this tour!

Nothing like having an experienced ex-Park Service person give you a tour of these great American National Parks. The timing of the light snow while visiting the Sequoia Forest for us couldn't have been more perfect! The knowledge of the plant species and park history was first-rate. If you want private, knowledgeable, first-class service, this is the tour for you!

So happy we booked this tour. It was a wonderful experience, we were picked up in a Tahoe and we were both able to enjoy the views during the ride to and from the park. Kasey is very experienced in navigating the narrow winding roads to the park. The tour inside the park was amazing he is knowledgeable about all of the flora and fauna as well as the history of the sequoia. You won't find a better guide. If we get back to California we will book one of the longer tours they offer. Keifer's Giant Sequoia Tours did a fantastic job, they even contacted us prior to our tour to answer questions and verify our pickup location.
