Bought this through group on, and we tried to go last Saturday and there was no show. The building is actually up for rent, don't buy the voucher off group either they will rip you off and try to offer you group on credits. Make sure you contact the Acc, as the phone number from group on has been disconnected.

Booked a show - showed up - it wasn't on. In fact, they no longer exist! Found out this has been run by a scam artist from NZ who has taken off but is still taking people's money.

I would rate 0 stars if I could! Do not book!!! We received multiple confirmation emails, only to travel 1.5 hours on public transport to the venue and it was closed. No information communicated to anyone. No one answered the phone. Eventually got a Facebook message with a somewhat cryptic message about the show being cancelled. They seem to be still taking bookings. The Surfers Paradise information centre had no idea! Thankfully we booked through a third party and got a refund but it was so disappointing and a waste of our time. Not sure what's happening but feels like a scam/fraud. Avoid!!!

Absolute rubbish! Booked online and received a confirmation email along with a reminder the day before about our booking. All seemed quite normal... Wasn't till I made enquiries via phone with the location that we found out the show is no longer running and their lease wasn't extended. Happy enough though to TAKE OUR MONEY!!!! Tried calling the number attached to the booking, no answer of course. Wasn't till we communicated through their facebook page that we got any kind of response. We were told they were sorry and trying to refund people their money but it seems from other reviews this is not a recent development. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR YOU'LL ONLY DO YOUR MONEY.

We bought tickets in January for a show on April 5. We received an email on March 22 stating that the show had been canceled and we had the option of rebooking after June 2023 or getting a refund. Since we were traveling from the other side of the world and don’t know when we might return to Australia, we requested the refund. We received a cancellation email that same day that stated that our refund had been processed, but the refund never showed up on my credit card. I followed up by email on April 4 and April 10, but Spirits did not respond to either email. On April 12, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Spirits never responded to the dispute and I had to wait until today, June 6, for the dispute to be resolved. Spirits had my money for over 4 months. We would have loved to see the show but unfortunately don’t trust that this is an honorable business. Buyer beware.

We had an amazing night immersed in the world's oldest living culture under the glorious Queensland stars. We were touched by the warm welcome, beautiful music, skilled traditional dancers and captivating storytelling - a moving story of the history of this country and the experiences of those who came before us on the land. The food was delicious too! Nothing but admiration for all involved in this show, would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Australia and the traditional owners of the land.

Nice evening. Interactive show where you follow the actors around to various scenes. Some are under cover some aren't. Follows a story of the actors family. The show took about an hour and showed various aspects of Aboriginal life. The evening meal was good. Three courses. Entree was damper and kangaroo meat balls. Main various meats, vegetables and salads. Dessert pavlova. The actors were all lovely. Definitely a good evening

It was an insightful evening conveying more information about the history of suppression of the aboriginal people. By packing it into a play in which the personal story of two aboriginal brothers was told you got pulled into it and felt touched as a spectator. You need to be prepared that a bit of walking is involved when switching scenes. Dinner was served at the end and was unfortunately a bit rushed through.

Absolutely fantastic, based on real life events.. I was captivated from the start, the characters, the setting, the music all so emotive. I'm a visitor from the UK & I couldn't visit this fantastic country without experiencing the native culture of aboriginal people. Thank you for such a good show.

A raw, authentic and powerful performance that left me with chills and gave our entire family a new perspective on the subjective perspective of challenges faced in our Australian history. Each of us have a story to tell, and it was a privilege to hear this one. Dinner afterwards of delicious rustic fare highly enjoyable. Truly worthwhile.
