    James from Rutherfords punting, an excellent chauffeur. He is knowledgeable and his commentary was great, balanced and witty. He ensured the safety of the passengers even when other self driven boats bumped into our boat. Thanks much for the lovely experience James & Rutherfords punting.

    Very kind staff as part of Rutherfords Punting company! Ollie provided us with the tour history and was great. Would definitely recommend , and going early too while River bit more quiet before midday!

    George our Punter was amazing .He was Knowledgeable about the history of Cambridge University and made it a point to include everyone on the boat in conversation . Highly recommend this tour .

    Check-in early for the punt was asked by staff to please sit or come back at 5pm then came back and informed that others might be late so I wait a bit. Staff kindly offered her seat to me, she can me through her periphery, and I approached her again who was chirpily chatting with her other colleagues, it's almost 17:20 but didn't inform me until I asked her again what's happening and was told that unfortunately my slot is cancelled because other clients didn't turn up and she mentioned that they didn't know how I "cheekily" managed to book it in discount price which was so off-putting to be honest. I believe this is the real reason why they cancelled my slot, I answered it's a privilege, i didn't really have to explain to her but I was already getting in foul mood at that point. Firstly, I booked it 1 month in advance, Secondly, we customers are entitled for discount if we have membership card etc. Another male staff came in and asked the same thing if I want it rebooked to 6pm or refunded. Didn't really want to make a deal with them, they were very disappointing, not very friendly, so when another co. offered a good deal, I immediately grabbed it. Just go to Cambridge Punt Company, they'll treat you better.

    My father had never been in a punt despite living in Cambridge for 44 years! He has had bad health and is waiting for a hip replacement. Despite his mobility issues the staff were very kind and helpful and with their support we were able to get him into the punt. We all had a fantastic time. It was an interesting and informative trip in a stunningly beautiful city.
