What to expect
We start our tour at 8.30 am for Morning Departure. After a short briefing, you start the tour with our experienced English-speaking local guide who takes you on a journey along the main roads through a small local village 18 km away from our office. You will also experience the local biodiversity in Sri Lanka- working tea plantation, tropical palms, ferns and lots of coconut trees. Throughout this journey, you will pass through lush green paddy fields, a big part of people's lives here in south Sri Lanka. A short journey on the main road and a stop for a refreshing king coconut winds down your tour before you get the local village. We keep our mountain bike at the local house and 15 minutes walk to the river where you can enjoy a dip in freshwater fed from the Hiyare rainforest. After you have your local lunch from the local house we head back 17 km to our office.
