We lucked out and had a "private" tour. Just the two of us. Our guide was SPECTACULAR. We learned more by listening to him, then having to read all the information. He was incredibly knowledgeable. Definitely worth the time and money. Two thumbs up...book it!

In addition to being one really cool lady, Jodi is a treasure chest full of information & great stories. She took us to UAF for their museum & by their rocketry building & gardens, Large Animal Research Station, the Alaskan pipeline, the Heritage Center, & even to the North Pole in this trip filled with heritage & culture. She took time with everyone, smoothly guided our crowd together after letting us wander, & spoke clearly & loudly enough to be heard. She taught us much about her Iditarod days & her current mushing teams, her Alaskan experiences, & listened/answered carefully as we questioned her. I would gladly go on this tour again!
