What to expect
First, we'll go towards the historical center of Lima, where we’ll visit San Martin Square, your local tour guide will give you a good introduction to the history of the country, its people and the local life.

This is an unmissable street! You will have a panoramic view and you will appreciate a very nice architecture, great wooden balconies, impressive rock carvings and monumental churches. The local atmosphere, shops, chicken restaurants plus local music will make your day for sure interesting!

After we finish our exploration of Unión Street, we will continue with the visit of one of the most impressive attractions in the city of Lima, the Monastery of San Francisco and its fascinating CATACOMBS! Where we will learn about the culture and traditions of the inhabitants of the city of Lima during the colonial era of the XVI, XVII y XVIII centuries. We believe this is one of the attractions that will make your tour and visit memorable!

Also, this is where the changing of the guard takes place every day! We are going to enjoy great architecture and a place full of history!

Lima Cathedral
The most important religious power during the colonial era was in the city of Lima and was presided over by this imposing cathedral. The front is impressive, the art and architecture that surrounds it is also impressive. There the main and oldest religious ceremonies are celebrated. The locals love to get married there. We will have the best panoramic view of the Cathedral for the best photos!

Basilica and Convent of Santo Domingo, Lima
This convent is considered the oldest in Southamerica which during the 17th century had the tallest tower in the whole continent, still these days works as convent and has and impressive facade.

Miraflores
We will have lunch in Miraflores and then we will continue, our visit to the famous district of Miraflores, where we will visit the romantic “Parque Del Amor” that has a very artsy sculpture made by a well recognized local artist called Victor Delfín and it offers a panoramic view of the Peruvian sea. Then, we go towards “Parque Kennedy” for a walk throughout the park and to have a very nice conversation about the history of such a popular place and of course, watch the cats living in this park.

Morro Solar
Our first visit will be to one of highest points of the city, located in Chorrillos district to go towards the historical “Morro Solar” (300 masl), where an outstanding view will be waiting for us and we will be able to learn about the history of this spot and Peru in general.

Barranco
The next spot to visit is the bohemian and artistic district of Barranco which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the “plaza”, the romantic and mysthical “Puente de los suspiros”. In addition, we will take a look at the beautiful art murals on the very small and narrow street’s walls of this traditional neighborhood.

Mercado N 2 de Surquillo
We'll go to a very traditional “Local Market” in Surquillo district, where we will learn about many products we grow and harvest in our country, also learn about the Peruvian gastronomy. We will be able to taste exotic products brought from different regions of Peru (Coast, Andes and Amazon)
