    The staff are very friendly and the gorge is beautiful but this tour wasn’t what I was expecting which I booked after reading the other reviews. We were expecting a relaxing, easy float along the river with the option of doing a few jumps if we wanted to. It wasn’t like that. Firstly there’s a 30 minute drive to the river location, then a 15 minute steep stony walk down to the river. There’s a lot of other groups following the same path and my 9yr old daughter got shouted at by an aggressive French man for not being quick enough down the rocky path. Once in the water the tour is mostly about jumping from rocks so if you choose not to then you do spend a lot of time waiting for the group to jump. Also a lot of time waiting for the group ahead of you to finish jumping so your group can start. Then there’s the climb back up the hill, the wait for the bus and a 30 minute drive back to town. Admittedly we’re not adrenaline junkies. But for anyone wondering if it’s a good fit for a family with younger children then just be aware, there’s a lot of waiting around and the jumps, whilst optional, are what this tour is all about. To reiterate -the staff are super friendly I’m not faulting them at all. This just wasn’t the relaxing float along the river I was expecting based on reading the previous reviews.

    I totally recommend this company for aquatic activities. They responded professionally and promptly to our requests. We had Cyril, the boss, as our very supportive guide and it was really an outstanding and amazing experience. The water in the pictures is cloudy but it is because of the heavy rain we had. Nevertheless, my family and I enjoyed every part of this aquatic hike whether it was on the back with our feet forward floating down the canyon, walking on the rocks, jumping into the river or walking back through the dark tunnels of the canyon. The price is affordable and the team is welcoming and friendly. A full package for a memorable experience in the Verdon Gorges.
