    What a terrible experience. Do not use this company! We booked the trip and the boat was cancelled due to high winds, that’s ok and not the companies fault. However we were not told this until we were there. Instead we were ferries in old taxis to a beach that was nothing short of a disgrace. An area of 25m square with in excess of 300 people. Was this the only beach they could show us??!! We can to stay for two hours until we were collected. We were then taken for lunch in what was nothing short of a school canteen, poor food and restaurant. As English tourists we booked a bilingual tour but our guide could barely speak English and this made understanding instructions and information, like collection times challenging. It was such a terrible and disappointing experience and totally ruined a day of our holiday. Stay away from this company u less you are fluent in Portuguese or happy to receive a substandard experience.

    Our tour guide was very kind and ensured we were safe at all times. We booked an English tours however, 95% of the tour was in Portuguese or Spanish. The tour itself was alright - this is of course my opinion, I’m sure others would enjoy it. We stopped at 2 beaches and drove around a couple islands - it was quite crowded. The boat ride had loud party music, and for an additional price grilled food and drinks. If you’re the first one to be picked up, prepare to be in the bus for 4-5hours before getting onto the boat. Lunch was buffet style and was served at around 4pm, come prepared with some snacks. Overall it was a sunny day, and the tour was alright. Our guide was kind, and tried her best to rally the crowd.

    The views were beautiful, we were lucky enough to spot hump back whales and turtles! Juliana was very informative, helpful and so friendly! Very long day but worth it, crystal clear water & white sands to die for.

    If I could leave less than 1 star, I would! Trip was confirmed - I waited more than 2 hours but was never picked up or contacted; I reached out to company thru Viator app and directly but never received a response; Viator finally contacted me to say the guide company decided to cancel the trip but gave no notice; this was planned for my last day in Rio so I missed out on this experience - I could have gone with a different company had I been given notice; at the very least, if the tour company was going to cancel, they should have attempted to get me on a different group's tour. Beyond disappointed with this company and with Viator for not helping to rectify the problem (refunding my money was not enough). Do NOT book this tour!!

    Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia

    Also known as "Prainhas", it is divided in two, separated by rocks (at high tide, turns one). To reach the calm, transparent and perfect waters for bathing, you have to face a wooden staircase of 255 steps, that leaves the hill of Atalaia.
