Assamese cuisine prioritizes fresh seasonal vegetables & herbs, freshwater fish, local spices and different types of meat. In this experience guests will have the option of taking part in the cooking or just view while the host explains all the ingredients used, their significance and the cooking techniques that allows the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. In the first course guests will sample starters like Bor and Small Fish fry (with heritage Liquor for extra payment). The main course will have unique Assamese dishes like Khar, Maasor Tenga(Fish Curry), Pork with Bamboo shoot along with other vegetable and meat dishes. Dessert will have assortment of Assamese Pithas made with rice, jaggery, coconut etc. The experience will conclude with tasting different types of the world famous Assam Tea.
