    The astronomical hike has been the highlight of my Chile trip. Loreto is a great guide, very knowledgeable not only about astronomy but also about the local history and traditions. I loved how she was able to weave the scientific, cultural, and spiritual aspects together in providing a unique experience. Although the site is only a few minutes outside of Vicuna, the night sky was spectacular, both to the naked eye and through the telescope. Pre-tour communication was excellent, and I was picked me up at my hotel in Vicuna on time. Everything was very well organized and prepared, and the photos came out great. Definitely recommended if you're in the Elqui Valley.

    We loved the experience. It was a perfect mix of hiking, history, stargazing, breathtaking views, relaxation and photography. Loreto was really easy to pre-plan and communicate with, ensuring our arrival to the location from our hotel. When you go, bring good walking shoes for rocky/sand, a light sweater or jacket, and have a great time!

    Such a beautiful tour, in which you not only learn about the Stars and Planets, but also about the history and indigenous culture of the place. The tour guide Loreto, is such a lovely woman and you could tell she is really passionate about this tour. So definitely go for it. Will not be regretted.

    My husband and I had the best time! What I love about this tour is that is combines mindfulness, nature, indigenous history and astronomy. We went in a clear night, but very close to a full moon. That didn’t diminish the experience at all though! We started with a hike up a hill in this beautiful valley. Then we leaned about the local women who embraced solar cooking and the indigenous history of the mountains in the area. We arrived at the top, we had an amazing meditation and sound bath. After opening our eyes, we explored the sky as much as possible before the moon rose. The pictures were beautiful and Loreto was the kindest, nicest person. After hiking down, we explored the planets through a huge telescope (seeing the rings of Saturn and moons of Jupiter). I would highly recommend this experience, it was just perfect.
