What to expect
We offer Quad biking service, it is one hour guided tour. We encourage our guests to come 20-30 mins before their tour starts for safety briefing and how the bikes work. During the tour our guests get to experience the white Dunes. On the tour we stop at a photo spot where our guests can take pictures. Some spots show the incredible views of Koeberg Nuclear Power Station which is currently the only nuclear power station in Africa. Our bikes are user friendly, one doesn’t need experience to be on the Quad Bikes. They are semi automatic. The Dunes form part of a nature reserve ‘The Witzand Aquila Nature Reserve’ which is managed by the City of Cape Town. The reserve stores water underneath the ground and it supplies water to the neighbouring areas. The reserve has a rich ecology, the are different kind of harmless species and beautiful plants that can only be found in Cape Town like the Fauna plant. Most of the animals like antelopes and some reptiles hide during the day.
