We started with a camel ride, having visited the wonderful Berber village. We then trekked in the foothills of Toubkal mountain for a couple of hours walking with our wonderful guide, Mohamed Sarkozi - such a lovely and engaging man. He delivered us to a riad for a fine lunch before walking and talking with us as we returned to Imlil to meet our driver for the return to Marrakesh.

We spent two days with Toubkal driver Hisham going to the Ouzoud waterfalls, Agafay desert to ride camels, and Imlil for a guided day hike. The experiences were all awesome on their own but I cannot speak highly enough about our driver Hisham. He made us feel so comfortable with his professional enthusiasm, perfect English, and wonderful recommendations. We can’t wait to go back to Marrakesh and highly recommend Toubkal to book your excursions. Just make sure to ask for Hisham!

My wife, daughter and I took this tour and had the best day of our holiday in Morocco. We were picked up from near our Riad in Marrakech by our driver, Ibrahim, who was friendly, immensely helpful, fantastically knowledgeable about everything we saw that day and imperturbably calm while negotiating our passage through the frantic Marrakech traffic. We went first to the Agafay Desert to ride the camels. It was huge fun. After that we drove across the Kik Plateau to Imlil, where we were introduced to our guide for the hike, also called Ibrahim, who patiently led us first to a spectaular waterfall and then on up to a Berber village for mint tea and a much-needed rest. It was not a difficult climb but, if like me, you spend most of your year sitting at a desk it’s a thorough work-out. From there to the guesthouse where we had lunch, the route is along unmade roads, a much easier progress than the initial clamber. After a good lunch of chicken tagine, salad, bread, olives and fresh fruit while looking at spectacular views down the valley, the descent back to Imlil was a relaxed stroll through beautiful countryside in warm February sunshine. The drive back to Marrakech followed a different route to that of the morning, providing fresh sights of interest. I would unhesitatingly recommend Toubkal Guide to anyone who wants a really nice day trip.

Abdul Z. was a great driver navigating the winding roads in the Atlas Mountains in comfortable, private car. Appreciated the on time pick up and drop off at raid. Enjoyed the camel ride and hike in Imil. Husband enjoyed the camel ride more than I expected! Perfect way to recharge after a few days in the city. Lunch was delicious, too. Toubkal Guide
You will be picked up from Marrakech at 9 o'clock in the morning. From here it is a 1.5-hour drive to Imlil (1740 meters) via Tahanaout and Asni. On the way, you will be able to visit an argan oil cooperative. After arrival in Imlil, you start a walk with the guide to Aremd village (1900 meters). On the way, you will be able to see traditional Berber villages and see the highest peak in the North of Africa, Jbel Toubkal (4167 meters). In winter Toubkal will be covered with snow and it will be a beautiful sight to see in the distance.
