    Our family visited Hacienda El Cenizaro twice on vacation and absolutely loved both the horseback riding and the four wheeler rides! Esteban was the best guide we’ve ever had on a vacation excursion! My wife and kids would come back to Costa Rica just to visit HaciendaEl Cenizaro and ride the four wheelers with him again! We saw Sloths, Spider Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Parrots and so much more! We highly recommend this place! Make sure to ask for Esteban!

    Booked a private ATV tour of the Hacienda El Cenizaro cattle ranch for myself, my son, and brother-in-law. It was the most enjoyable, exciting, and beautiful part of a really fantastic trip to Costa Rica. Delighted to call out our guide, Popeye, who is just about the most energetic tour guide I've ever met. He's full of positive and friendly energy, and his great attitude made our tour fun from the beginning. Popeye is an MVP of this very professional operation! The property is a beautiful working cattle ranch, filled with these beautiful Brahmin cattle. You'll see plenty of dried-out cow patties in the lower pastures of this very well-maintained property. As you climb through the different segments of the private land, you'll be treated to new views, vistas, and dimensions of the Northern Costa Rican landscape. It was grand and humbling. We also saw some howler monkeys, which was very cool. The adventure level was perfect for my teenage son, and still within the comfort zone of a couple of city dwelling dudes. My wife and daughter could've surely handled the controls of the ATV. More fun for a true adventure seeker. Special thanks to local tour booker Ulf Halbgebauer Briceno, who recommended this adventure, and also flawlessly booked all of the airport transfers and other trips while we were in CR.     My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the two hour ATV tour we took on 12/29/2019. Popeye was our guide and he did an excellent job. Plenty to see

    This was a great combination that satisfied the various needs of my family members. My son and his dad did an ATV ride and my daughter and I did the horseback riding and they accommodated us at the same time which was much appreciated. The horses were friendly and gentle. I forgot my phone so Jeff took photos of my daughter and I and what's app'd them to me later on which was above and beyond what you'd expect! thanks for a great morning. My daughter spotted an armadillo on the grounds I didn't see it - but it was a very relaxing way to spend a morning. Great views from the property.

    We went on a 2 hour horseback ride with our 5 year old and 8 year old daughters. They absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. I rode with my 5 year old on my horse (she sat on a blanket at the front of the saddle) and we had the best time together. The scenery was spectacular and the horses were gentle and stayed 'on course.' Definitely highly recommend!
