A 1-day self-guided tour in which you will find out all about the gastronomic Portuguese tradition, visiting some modern wine houses, tasting some of the best wines of the region. The tour begins at Adega Luís Pato, where you will learn all about the Pato family that has been producing wine at Quinta do Ribeirinho since the 18th century. Luís Pato, also known as “Senhor Baga”, is a remarkable figure in Bairrada. Get to know the facilities and all the stories being the property. By the end of the visit, you will be joining a wine and sparkling wine tasting. Lunch will be at the Quinta do Encontro restaurant, which excels in providing high quality service and a unique taste experience with the flavours of traditional cuisine. In the afternoon, you will visit Aliança Underground Museum. Founded in 1927 at Sangalhos, Anadia, Aliança is a reference in the Portuguese wine sector and it has got a well determined touristic strategy.
