What to expect
Atacama Desert
We will meet at the meeting point to leave San Pedro de Atacama towards the southeast. We will travel for an hour in which we will see the variation of colors in the desert landscape. We will arrive at the entrance to the hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, where it will be possible to use the restrooms before continuing the tour. We will continue along the path that will take us through the seven lakes that make up this wonderful landscape, of which only the first and the last can be used for bathing. Due to the amount of salt they contain, you will be able to experience the floating effect similar to that of the Dead Sea. After visiting this tourist attraction in the middle of the Atacama desert, we will begin our return, passing through the entrance facilities to use the restrooms and use the showers to remove the salt from the lagoons. On the way back, we'll make a short stop to watch the sunset in the desert before reaching the center of San Pedro de Atacama.
