During this walking tour we will see different buildings built for the world fairs on 1888 and 1929, and some others built for the Olympic Games 1992. Anyway, we will see and you'll know the history of other buildings from another centuries. This Arch was built for the Expo 1888.
We will visit this park originally made as a military citadel on XVIII century. On 1888 it was held the Universal Exposition on 1888.
Casa Llotja de Mar
Walking from the area of the 1888 expo and 1929, we will see from outside other buildings. This one is originally from s.XIV.
Columbus Monument
During the walking tour we'll pass around this statue, also built for the exposition on 1888.
Another old and big building that we will see during the walking tour will be this one, the shipyards. It was where they built the ships from XIIIth till XVIIIth century.
Parc de Montjuic
We will walk in different paths and gardens of this parc in Montjuic hill.
We will see from outside the Olympic Stadium, originally build for the Expo 1929, and renovated for 1992 Olympic Games. and we'll see another buildings from 1929 and 1992.
We will enter to this building from 1929 International Expo and we will enjoy the views from the roof.
Placa d'Espanya
We will finish the tour arriving to Plaça d'Espanya, where we will see different structures built for the Expo 1929 among other buildings.
