We had a wonderful part day wine tour with Sofia. In the planning stage Sofia was very communicative and made sure she understood what we were looking for. We didn’t want to do big wineries or extravagant food experiences, we were keen to spend time at small, family run places with a passion for making good wine. Sofia was a delightful, personable host and guide who was very informative about the region’s history and geographic features. We enjoyed her unassuming manner and flexibility with our program. We ended up cutting the number of wineries short so we could enjoy each place we went to properly. On Sofia’s recommendation, we had a nice lunch at the Greenock Hotel - a traditional Australian pub in a beautiful spot, with a good wine list (of course). Her prices are very reasonable and we highly recommend getting in touch with Sofia to organise a fun, interesting, comfortable and safe Barossa wine tour.

One of the best Viators we have taken. Sophias knowledge of Borossa Valley was outstanding. Highly recommend this tour.

This a belated, but well deserved, appreciation of the wonderful day we spent with Sofia on December 8th. Sofia is a delightful host, the perfect ambassador for not only the Barossa region but all of Australia. Her pride and love of the Barossa region is contagious. We had a well filled day. Sofia went out of her way to introduce us to wonderful vineyards, taste a variety of wines and learn a lot about matching them with food, and chocolate. Food served was locally sourced and delicious. Sofia enjoys a close relationship with vineyard owners who clearly love to work with her and welcomed us warmly. Thank you so much this wonderful day, a true highlight during our trip down under.

Sophia was so lovely, my family still raves about her today. She was attentive and knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour. Can’t recommend her enough!

A friend and I did a private wine tour in January 2022 and had the best day! So much so I'm not returning with a bigger group of friends and am hoping to be able to book again! 10/10 one of the best decisions we made on our week in wine country 💚

We did a private wine tour and it was fabulous! We emailed Sofia with our preferences and she planned the perfect itinerary for us. The lovely Kirsty was our driver and really made the day fun and couldn’t do enough for us to make our day amazing. It takes the stress out of the day when you are not familiar with the area and there are also no worries about driving while over the limit. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a fantastic day touring with our amazing tour guide, Joe. He took us to the most amazing, family based and small wineries where not only wines stood out, but also the architecture of buildings was one of a kind. If you are looking for a private tour with a knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide, I recommend Barossa wine tours and Joe! Enjoy your wine tasting experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful private wine tour guided by Sofia, through the Barossa. Sofia was very knowledgeable about the area, took us to several beautiful wineries, showed us all the important sites and then for a visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop where we had coffee and cake. A beautiful lunch at Wanera Wine Bar was included. We had a wonderful, relaxing day and highly recommend this tour,

We had a private chauffeured tour to 4 wineries, a lookout and the chocolate factory. Joe our guide was a fantastic host and very informative. He lives in Eden Valley & knows the area well. Joe was very accommodating. We weren’t rushed. The wineries visited were Chateau Tanunda, Rusden, Lambert & Rockford. Highly recommend. Value for money tour.
