    An absolute disaster. Our guide was not a Basel local, and spoke poor English. He arrived 10 minutes late. He was completely ill-equipped to be a guide: lacked the knowledge and empathy, and was unable to provide any meaningful background narrative. It is inconceivable that he was vetted by anyone in authority. After 15 minutes, we could see that this was a huge mistake and we ended the tour at this point. Worst $185 I have ever spent!

    We had a fantastic day in Lucerne thanks to our guide, Ueli. He was absolutely wonderful and it was one of the best tours we have ever done.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour even in the rain. We were departing on a Viking cruise later in the day and this was perfect to see a bit of Basel.
