    We went on a hike tour through the canyons with Albania rafting group as they are knowledgeable and trustworthy. They have the right gear for you, as we felt safe during the hike through the canyon with massive rocks and slippery clay ground. This made us enjoy the canyons too as we didn’t need to worry. The guides were patient and encouraged people throughout the hike to take jumps, get used to swimming in the water et cetera. Also showed us a few animals if they spotted them. All in all a fun experience with very beautiful views!

    We did the river hike at Osumi Canyon with Albania Rafting Group. We made our own way to the meet up place close to Corovode as we had our own car and it was a beautiful drive. We left Berat at around 8:45am and made it there before 10:30am Once at the meet up we were kitted out in half wet suits, life jackets and helmets and there were some shoes as well if you didn’t have your own. There were lockers to store your belongings. All very professional. Then a drive to the start point of the hike where we spent the next 2 hours or so wading, swimming, jumping off cliff rocks into the water and hiking in the stunning Osumi canyon. With our wet suits the water was the perfect temperature and really refreshing given it was close to 40 degrees outside. The climb out of the canyon at the end was tiring but satisfying after we reached the top. Our tour guides took photos and videos and we gave them our phone nos and they sent them to us which was a really nice bonus. The highlight of our trip to Albania

    We start to travel to Osumi Canyons by minivan. It is about a 60 km drive and takes 1,5 - 2 hours with a short break. Start point?  Your guide will collect you from Berat city close to your hotel. Finish point? At the end of your trip you will be returned to Berat city close to your hotel. No previous experience is needed, however a moderate level of fitness is required along with the ability to swim. Each visitor should wear: -          bath suit -          old sneakers or sandals -          sport’s wear (T-shirt, sportive trousers) You should take with yourself -          towel -          warm clothes to be changed -          old sneakers or sandals to change at the end of the trip
