A "must visit" place in the tour, this building works as the Governor´s Palace. This is the place where doña Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez was imprisoned in 1810 and from here she wrote and send a letter to Captain Allende, doing possible the insurgent revolution against the Spanish crown.
The main square of the city, surrounded by beautiful baroque houses and nice restaurants, has a monument to Don Antonio de Urrutia y Arana, the Marquiz who sponsored the construction of the aqueduct.
Santuario de La Congregacion de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe
