What to expect
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
We will pick you up from your accomadation. Start the day at Kirstenboch Gardens where we will walk and cover a number of different habitats to encounter some of the fynbos and forest species. It includes Cape Sugarbird, Orange breasted Sunbird, Blue mantled Crested Flycatcher and a number of raptors. We spend the morning exploring the gardens. We then take a break for lunch (at your own expense). Then, we head to Strandfontien Sewage Works and watch the aquatic species as well as the seabirds that are frequent in the area. This area is truly a birding hotspot with up to and sometimes over 80 species seen in 2 hours. We will drive around the area and bird out of the comfort of our Vehicle. We then head back to your accommodation
