    I wanted to see the main sites of Birmingham city centre whilst up for a conference before catching my train back. It was great to walk around with Asfa my guide and my favourite bits have to be down by the canal at Brindley Place and exploring the Library and all its different levels.

    My tour guide was friendly and very thorough. The experience through Birmingham city center was memorable and quite lovely.

    Tour guide was a no-show. The tour never happened. We turned up early, and when no-one showed up we phoned the various numbers on the booking. One number never connected. Another number someone answered supposedly Viator but they couldn't help. Hugely disappointing. My group included 2 visitors from overseas. We had paid close to £200, in advance, for 3 of us for a "personalised diamond" experience". We haf planned a 2 week itinery (across the UK) around a walking tour in Birmingham that never happened. Prior to the day we'd received regular reminders of the walking tour but no inkling that the event could possibly be cancelled. Since then I've raised complaints, requests for refunds & compensation. So far, I've had vague emails in return and vague conversations (always iniated by me rather than initiated by the organisers who failed me & my guests). I've not even had an apology from Viator or Trip Advisor. I can't help thinking it's all a scam.
