Unfortunately completely failed!
Falling in love my family and I visited a show that is unparalleled worldwide over 30 times but what we saw on stage on Sunday afternoon was simply not what you would have expected after the last show. The 2. We didn’t really like each other anymore. The orchestra now sits in boxes behind glass, which is quite good after the 5 number is then dark in the boxes so that you can no longer see the orchestra, from there everything comes off the tape? A leading man if you can call it that who hardly hits a straight note whose voice after the 6 number at the end is the one who has no idea about acting at all probably more the nightmare of the show. Baladas are sung without feeling with a tender and skewed voice and to the happy hour song performers with a powerless voice of such music try to awaken the now already tired palace audience again, which hardly succeeds. Music that sometimes just hurts in the ears. A water surface not even 30cm deep? A joke or where is the Famous Basin and Fountain? That's what the audience wants. Another singer who has already failed Sister Act simply smashes her crooked voice in the palace now. What the Friedrichstadtpalast delivers here with fear in the back of the Soon-to-Be premiere at Potsdamer Platz is cruel. This time we were private here even my wife former dancer had on the 2nd floor. Part no more desire and I as you can probably guess from the spelling media representatives were negatively startled after this grandiose last show! The only positive is the ballet and the lighting technology.
I know that these lines are not acceptable to Mr. Schmidt but they also have to live with them, spend one less tip on names of the costume designers and invest more for good singers! Thanks for the premiere tickets these we have passed on however!!

Great performance. Beautiful costumes, great acrobats and very good singers/actors. Great technique, always surprising effects. Very good musicians and a, as always, very good ballet and dance team. We will definitely come back.
