    We had an amazing river rafting experience. Two members of our group were nervous about class 3 rapids, but Adam eased their fears by skillfully maneuvering through the rapids. He made white water river rafting look easy. Adam pointed out geographical landmarks and told us the history of the river along the way, and made us a beautiful lunch and kept us hydrated too. I highly recommend taking a rafting trip with Monumental Expeditions - the owners Adam and Lisa are true experts and make the trips fun and safe!

    This was so much fun. Our guide Free was awesome. Beautiful scenery and the water was perfect. The rapids were a blast. Highly recommend.

    We did a full day rafting trip down Browns Canyon of the Arkansas river. I have been down the river many times and this was the best trip. Brenndan, our guide was phenomenal and keep us entertained while providing a great and safe experience.

    My wife and I took our two sons (ages 12 and 10) for their first time out west this week. After a week of hiking, biking, and rafting, we decided on our last day to do one more rafting trip last minute (even though the river flow was reduced a few days ago). Our experience with Monumental Expeditions far exceeded our expectations. From how quickly they responded to my booking request to answering our questions, this "family run" operation was second-to-none. Our guide, Sean, was a seasoned expert who kept my sons engaged through the entire trip teaching them history, geology and how to "read" the river" as we moved along. Being just one boat, and not part of a larger company "flotilla" allowed us to move through tough spots fast and keep moving. The lunch was excellent with fresh watermelon, sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks. We can't wait to come back again!

    Brendan took me and my two sons (13 and 14) down Browns Canyon. We all had a great time. Brendan was entertaining and informative the whole day. He made a killer lunch for us, too. We had done the family rafting trip in Durango a few times, but the boys wanted something with a little more action. They aren't 16 yet, so can't go down the Class 4 and 5. This was perfect. Neither one complained about the level of the rapids. They loved how involved they were in propelling and helping steer the raft.
