    They do not offer you the minimum number of hours established in the employment contract, at the minimum they fire you and leave you on the street without work and without accommodation, and they treat their employees very badly, including threats, disrespect, shouting and insults from some superiors. The working conditions are horrible. I have had coworkers who have worked 7 hours straight at forty degrees on their feet, and no one has offered them a bottle of water.

    We visited Bush Gardens on Sunday, August 25th. This is our 3rd year in a row visiting at this time. My son in law purchased tickets from GovX, as he also did last year. When we went to enter the park we were told we had to go to Ticketing to have them print the tickets. When he went to Ticketing, they informed him they couldn't bring up his tickets and that he had to go to customer service. While standing in the long line at customer service, he called GovX to see if they would help in any way. Needless to say that didnt go well. When we finally reached the window we were greeted by LAKISHA, an amazing customer service representative. We told her the whole story. She could have blown us off but instead she tried everything she possibly could do to find the tickets on GovX. We were with her for probably 20 minutes and she never gave up. We did have to wind up purchasing other tickets, which she also helped us to do. I can't remember a time that a customer service representative was so attentive and helpful. They all need to take a lesson from Lakisha. What an amazing person. I'm so happy we had her to help us.

    My husband and I hadn’t been back to the park since Chrsitmastown 2019, but we’d heard and read horror stories about how run down the park had gotten or how hardly any of the thrill rides were open or how poorly staffed and unfriendly BG staff had become possibly because of Covid. So we weren’t sure what to expect when we decided to take a chance and see for ourselves. Relieved to report that we had a great time today. Got there at 11am — the queue to get in wasn’t very long — and we stayed til 4pm. Our favorite rides were all operating — Apollo’s Chariot, Griffon, Loch Ness — with minimal wait times. Verbolten was closed, at least while we there and DarKoaster had malfunctioned so that was closed as well. Tried their newest ride, Pantheon. Talk about intense! Had never tried Le Scoot so we did and enjoyed it; felt good to get partially wet. Hopped on the train for a bit. Every staff person we met was helpful and friendly. The park wasn’t jammed so that’s always a plus. Maybe come Howl O’ Scream it’ll be a different story, but we had a great time today, so no complaints.

    First thing to note is this will be an expensive day. Seek out discounted tickets. We got ours through AAA. Parking is still $32. The entire park is cashless, but also adds a 5% service charge to every transaction. I’m a fan of paper maps and schedules, but everything is digital now, so I feel like we were not very efficient with our walking. As I’ve gotten older, I have also gotten some motion sickness on thrill rides. It’s been a while since my last visit to Busch gardens but I thought I remembered more shows and music and non-ride activities. The 90s band in the big hall was good, but so loud! It was clear they didn’t want you to hang out and enjoy. Animal encounters, like Clydesdales, are an additional charge. Food service was incredibly inefficient. I surprised myself and did a lot of rides with no problems. Two major rides were closed all day and one other for half the day. We visited on a Tuesday and most lines were 20 min. Or less. The boat ride was going to be 45 min so we didn’t wait for it. We did get a wrist band for $40 that allowed a wine tasting in France, Italy, and Germany. The wines were good and if you can find Doris, she is very knowledgeable and nice to talk to. Overall, the rides are the main attraction, I wouldn’t waste my money on admission for young kids.

    The tickets were all good, but the Viator rep said parking was included, but it was not ($30). Also we did not know the tickets were good for both Busch Gardens and Water Country...we may have planned differently. When I continued looking at the Viator website after purchasing the tickets, I found Busch Garden tickets for almost $10 less than what I just paid!
