Lago Argentino
Lake Argentino is the largest and southernmost of the great Patagonian lakes of Argentina. It is located in the southwest sector of the province of Santa Cruz, and the third deepest in America. It has a main body and two long and irregular western arms, which are inside the Los Glaciares national park; they drain several glaciers, among which the Perito Moreno and the Upsala glacier stand out. On the south bank of the lake is the city of El Calafate, the most usual tourist base for the exploration of the region.
El Calafate Mountain Park is a center for recreational activities that offers summer and winter programs.
Los Glaciares National Park is located in the southern Andes of southwestern Argentina, near the Chilean border. Its numerous glaciers include Perito Moreno, famous for the spectacular ice cascades on its front wall, which end at Lake Argentino. In the north, the irregular peak of Mount Fitz Roy rises above the mountain village of El Chaltén and Viedma Lake. The park hosts many species of birds, such as condors and black eagles.

If you choose option with QUAD EXPERIENCE : Our guides accompany you throughout the whole trip. After an hour of travel in 4WD, we arrive at the starting point of the crossing in “Quads“. With the necessary technical equipments already prepared, you begin a route of 8 km towards the heart of the Hill. The Quads allow you to enter into ancient geography and penetrate the most attractive corners of Cerro Huyliche. -
In the background, the unforgettable and imposing framework of the Andes Mountains, and time to time, during the route, clients will enjoy views of the accumulation zone of the glaciers, towards Boca del Diablo (narrowest part of the lake, towards the Upsala arm) . Sometimes it is even possible to see the Fitz Roy and Torre hills in El Chaltén and, with some luck, the condor, master of the Patagonian skies, may be seen in his long plan. A unique show.
