What to expect
Cape Town Central
The Cape Agulhas tour is a great way to create a memorable day during your Cape Town trip. Pick up will be at your accommodation/hotel in Cape Town at 06:30am or 07:00am (depending on your preference of stops on route. You will travel to Cape Agulhus along the N2. Enjoy the scenery along the way.
Peregrine Farm Stall
We continue our journey with an optional stop at the Peregrine Farm Stall in Grabouw which is situated in the beautiful and fertile Elgin Valley. Peregrine offers local, fresh foods that are also freshly farmed and it is a recommended stop for coffee.
Caledon
Caledon is a town in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa. Caledon is located about 100 kilometers (62 mi) East of Cape Town and is situated next to mineral-rich hot springs. The town owes its origin to the hot water springs on the slopes of the Klein Swartberg. The hot mineral baths today form part of the Caledon Casino Hotel & Spa, an elegant establishment, known the world over for its warm hospitality, well-appointed conference center, a variety of sporting amenities, and beauty salon.
Napier
Napier is a village full of character and charm just two hours outside of Cape Town. Which was founded in 1838 through a dispute between two neighbors, Michiel van Breda and Pieter Voltelyn van der By. The village is now a blend of century-old cottages and modern houses, surrounded by rolling farmlands. In the past, the village was known for its Blacksmiths and is now commemorated by the annual Horse and Cart Festival.
Bredasdorp
Bredasdorp is named after the first mayor of Cape Town, Michiel van Breda, who is also considered the father of the merino sheep industry in the country. Today, Bredasdorp, is the economic hub of the Cape Agulhas region for local farming.
Struisbaai
Struisbaai is a quaint little village situated in the southernmost Region of South Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet Struisbaai is situated just four kilometers from Cape L'Agulhas. The two Town can be mistaken as one
Cape Agulhas - Southernmost Tip of Africa
Upon arrival, enjoy a walk along the pathway, which will take you to the official meeting point of the two oceans. Here, you can take a photo with one foot in the Indian ocean and the other foot in the Atlantic ocean. This is also the most Southern Tip of Africa. Explore one of the oldest lighthouses in South Africa, here at the Cape Agulhas.
Hermanus
Hermanus is famous for its whales. One can sight Southern Right Whales during winter and mid-spring from the winding cliff paths, by boat for more adventurous. Hermanus hosts an annual whale festival at the end of September to celebrate the return of the whales to the bay during mating season. Lunch can also be enjoyed at one of the many seaside restaurants in Hermanus. (Please advise whether we can assist with a restaurant booking.) You will have an Optional stop at the Hemel-en-Aarde wine valley just behind Hermanus. Here, we recommend a wine tasting at Creation Wine Estate
On our way back to Cape Town, we will stop at Stony Point Penguins Colony for a visit to these enchanting sea creatures. Stony Point is one of the largest penguin colonies in South Africa.

After your last stop at Stony Point, we will return to Cape Town for your drop off at your hotel / accommodation in Cape Town.
