What to expect
Maidens' Cove
Our first stop is Maiden’s Cove, a stunning viewpoint nestled between Camps Bay and Clifton. From here, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the 12 Apostles mountain range, the iconic Lions Head, and the pristine Camps Bay Beach. It’s the perfect spot to capture stunning photos of Cape Town’s dramatic coastline and natural beauty. Enjoy the fresh ocean air and the serene atmosphere as you take in one of the city’s most picturesque vistas.
We will stop at the picturesque Hout Bay Harbour, a charming fishing village nestled between mountains and the ocean. Here, you'll have the chance to explore a vibrant craft market and see playful Cape Fur Seals up close. For an even more immersive experience, you can take an optional 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island, where you'll witness a thriving seal colony and take in breathtaking coastal scenery. The boat cruise is available at an additional cost, but the unforgettable views and wildlife sightings make it well worth it!
As we journey from Hout Bay to Cape Point, we’ll traverse the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, renowned as one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes. This spectacular drive offers dramatic views of sheer cliffs plunging into the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll make several stops along the way to capture the awe-inspiring landscapes and panoramic vistas. The rugged beauty of the cliffs and the expansive ocean views make this stretch of road a highlight of the tour.
Our journey takes us to the iconic Cape of Good Hope, a dramatic landmark at the southwestern tip of the African continent. Although it's popularly believed to be where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, the exact meeting point is more diffuse. At Cape of Good Hope, you’ll be captivated by the rugged cliffs and sweeping coastal views, steeped in maritime history. We’ll then visit Cape Point, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic vistas from the lighthouse. Traditionally considered the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans converge, Cape Point offers breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline and ocean. You can either walk to the lighthouse or take the funicular for an unforgettable experience.
Our final stop is Boulders Beach, renowned for its unique colony of endangered African penguins. As you stroll along the boardwalks, you’ll have the chance to observe these charming penguins in their natural habitat, waddling among the rocks and swimming in the clear waters. The beach is named for its distinctive large boulders that create sheltered coves, adding to the picturesque setting. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the coastal views, and take in the playful antics of these adorable birds.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
