    For £4, it is well worth it. The short climb to the top reveals stunning views over Oxford and the nearby area. Go see for yourself!

    Interesting Medieval Tower. Stopped off and went up as part of our Open Top Bus Tour. Very narrow and tight winding spiral staircase. You can stop in the room about half way up and watch a short video on the history. Please respect people climbing up the spiral staircase before trying to come down. People going up actually have right of way according to the staff. View from the top is pretty good. Not much space for too many people at once to be up there. You may have to be patient and wait for people to come down. Entrance only £3.00 and 40-45 minutes well spent.

    Four of us went up late on a Sunday when the weather was playing ball for a change in summer 2023. We enjoyed the views and appreciated the breaks to get a quick breather on the way up.

    Saw this attraction and it looked very interesting so decided to check it out.It was lovely,the guy at the counter was very polite.Also the attraction itself was really nice,the stairs were cool and when you were about just under half way to the top there was a couple of facts as well which were interesting to read.Once you got up there the views from the top were absolutely stunning,you could see all the grand buildings,Oxford city centre and major attractions from high up and also what was lovely Is you could see the rolling hills of the chilterns as well.When you get down there you forget how high up you were,I would recommend this attraction to anyone

    Short and easy stop to get the most spectacular views of Oxford center. It has MULTIPLE steps that are very narrow so do not bring in large bags or bulky items.

    The tower is all that remains of the 13th century St Martin’s Church, the official city church of Oxford from 1122. In 1896, the main part of the church was demolished to make more room for traffic in the area. The tower is 74 feet tall and no building in central Oxford may be constructed higher than it. As such, it’s possible to climb the 99 steps to the top of the tower for an amazing view over the Oxford skyline. Hop off the Open Top Bus at Stop 7 to visit us!
