What to expect

Section 4 of the Chattooga River is the Southeast's iconic whitewater rafting experience. Rapids include Seven-Foot Falls, Raven's Chute, and the famous Five Falls - five class IV-V rapids that occur in just 1/3 of a mile. After a brief trip safety talk and video, you’ll get geared up and load onto our bus to shuttle to the river put in. Once at the river, your experienced guide will walk you through instructions and what to expect. Then it’s down the river you go- paddling through Section 4's technical and fun rapids and enjoying the raw beauty of this Wild and Scenic Chattooga River. In addition to the amazing whitewater, you'll stop for a riverside lunch at the majestic Long Creek Falls, followed by navigating the famous Five Falls.
