What to expect
Diaseli Traditional Cheesery & Museum
You are guided through a folklore museum for about 20 minutes, where you learn about the old life of the island of Ios before tourism. Then, you enjoy a tasting that includes ~9 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of honey, homemade fig marmalade, wine, and liqueur combined with dried fruit, breadsticks, and tomatoes with olive oil from our olive trees. You can also walk around our farm and enjoy the nice view and nature.
Nestled in the idyllic village of Kyllades, Diaseli Traditional Cheesery & Museum offers tourists an immersive experience into the rich culture and craft of cheese-making in Greece. Visitors can enjoy guided tours, tastings, and a unique insight into local history.
