Booked this tour months in advance. Planned everything in Florence around it. Now in Florence and just before going to bed see an email sent today saying…
“Hi, We hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately this tour can't be operated due to insurance issues. We apologize for inconvenience but we tried our best to make it happen but i'ts not possible.
We have to cancel and refund your tour. “
Can’t imagine the insurance issue just happened. Could have called or better yet given notice to us or Viator who we booked through. Now we have no tour and unable to book another on this short notice!!!

Fantastic experience. Fabio was outstanding - loads of fun, energetic, funny, attentive and generally an all-round great guide. We had a wonderful day riding around picturesque Tuscany. Lunch was superb with the most exquisite view. Absolutely enjoyed this tour - what a great way to spend a day in Florence.

What to expect
No experience required – beginners are welcome! Jump on this thrilling adventure with us: this is your chance to experience CHIANTI from another point of view. With a short ride our minibus will take you into the rolling Chianti countryside where you can enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views all around you.
The first stage of this thrilling activity is an ORIENTATION SESSION led by an English speaking trained professional, ensuring the safe operation of the Vespas before we head out for an enlightening and enjoyable ride.
A DRIVING TEST in an enclosed space will be held to understand if everyone has enough confidence and safety on the Vespa to drive on open roads. Then you’re off!
The ride, along scenic country roads, takes you amongst vineyards, olive trees and Medieval villages, stopping for photo opportunities during the ride. You will visit a famous winery, producing the world renowned Chianti red wine, visiting its fascinating cellars and learning all the secrets of wine production.
The Vespa ride will end at a smaller boutique winery, where you will be offered a typical Tuscan meal backed up by a pleasant wine tasting of fine local wines as well as an olive oil tasting in the heart of the Chianti. There’s also the chance to buy at competitive prices if you’re interested.
