    This was an amazing time. Our tour guide was Jason, and he was absolutely awesome. It was our first time, and he gave very good directions. My friends and I will be going rafting again.

    Hernandez was an amazing guide. He took us on some exciting maneuvers yet being conscious of the more cautious people in our raft. He is very personable and caring to our team. I slipped on the way out and he immediately stopped what he was doing to come attend to me. He would be great asset wherever he goes.

    This is my third year rafting down the Ocoee with adventures unlimited! ASK TO HAVE JOSH LEMON AS YOUR GUIDE! He is highly experienced and knowledgeable to guide you down the river and expect have an absolute blast! After rafting the middle Ocoee the last several years—I am planning on trying the upper river next season and will be requesting Josh as our guide!

    Connor was our guide and we had a fabulous time. He kept us safe, but challenged us at the same time. We had white water rafted previously and so Connor allowed us some freedoms. For example, our youngest son, 12 years old, was able to "bull ride" through rapids towards the end of the ride and he hung on the whole time. Connor was impressed that he didn't fall off! So his complements for my little guy were greatly appreciated by me. Connor did many "guide pops" along the way. He is very nimble, so it was funny to see him pop up and down like a gopher popping up and down out of a hole. Thanks Connor and we hope that we get to experience another rafting trip with you some day.

    The communication was excellent and so courteous. Sarah was my contact person and made it so easy. Even though I personally did not experience this adventure (due to age and health reasons) I booked 28 members of my family and after the event all gathered for our family reunion and each person was so excited that they could not stop talking about the fun they had. Thank you.

    What to expect

    Once you arrive at our adventure resort in Ocoee, TN you will be greeted by our friendly staff and introduced to your whitewater guide and then the fun begins! Your guide will help you get geared up with PFD, helmet and paddle. Then we will load up for the short bus ride to the put-in of the Middle Section of the Ocoee River, the Nation’s most popular whitewater river. After a complete safety briefing and orientation, it’s time to hit the water. Your adventure will take us 5.5 miles down the mighty Ocoee River inside the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. Dropping over 270 feet during our trek we will challenge HUGE waves and tight turns which are typically met with monstrous smiles and roaring laughter all while taming Class III and IV rapids. After almost two hours of a soaked adrenaline experience, we will float into the take-out for our ride back to Adventures Unlimited. Your dry clothes await you as well as the photos from your Ocoee whitewater adventure. No experience is necessary for whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and its perfect for groups of all sizes, but the minimum age is 12 years old.
