    A great day out, we went for the full day so we could take more time in the breathtaking scenery. Dennis (our driver and guide) was excellent. He was welcoming, friendly and drove with skill. He had great fun on the dunes. We would highly recommend this tour

    It was an amazing experience!!! I want to personally thank Dennis for taking me and my girlfriend on a 7-hour drive to Sandwich Harbour. Dennis is really nice, very knowledgable, always trying to give you additional context or information for the places you visit. Oh, yes, and he is a hell of a good driver, too. Which is important! Dennis went the extra mile to also take us see the seals even though that was not originally part of the trip we book.

    This is a must do in Walvis Bay. Our guide Dennis was superb and made the day great fun. Fabulous driving over the dunes and loads of wildlife to see. Best day of the whole cruise.

    The desert and sand Dunes are gigantic, the coastline beach is spectacular, the guide Denis is knowledgeable, and his driving skills is overwhelming! Overall the trip is fantastic!

    Wow! Where to begin? We had an awesome and friendly driver Crystal! She had nerves of steel and so must you as a passenger. Beautiful views, nature and wildlife with the most wild and breathholding off-roading you will ever do! What a thrill!

    Walvis Bay Esplanade

    Walvis Bay Esplanade

    Our first stop is at the Walvis Bay esplanade. Here we see the Pink Flamingos. We learn about the greater and lesser Flamingos. We drop our tyre pressure to .8 bar and are ready to take on the beach ride. We pass the pink Salt lakes of the Salt Mine and passed hundreds of waders and palearctic migratory birds in the Lagoon, along the shore to the towering Dunes of Sandwich harbour. Magnificent wide open spaces as the dunes get closer to the sea. We enter where Dunes meets sea on a narrow strip of beach. Awesome dune views and walks await us. We take a stomach tingling roller coaster ride to the Sandwich harbor view point. The bay is at your feet, surrounded by the Nara bush. Sandy sandbanks are awash in the bay and the green sea with blue sky red dunes is absolutely awesome. We take a dune drive to the best views, searching for animals in the desert and look for an unique picnic spot. Lunch with a dune view, quiet, very quiet only us around. We have time for dune and beach walks.

    Walvis Bay

    Our route takes us through the dunes and a game drive where we might see Ostriches , Oryx, Jackal and Springbuck. On the beach the Seals may be sleeping or playing, and if we are lucky we will see Dolphins and Whales. The route is back along the shores with thousands of birds. Sadly we end up in Walvis Bay. We tank up and air up and take your back to your hotel.
