We did the expedition to Concepcion volcano yesterday and were guided by Roy. There were 3 of us in the group. We really
enjoyed the day and found Green Expeditions to be well organised and very friendly. They were reliable and punctual and we took regular breaks throughout to ensure the group all kept together. The views from the lookout point and the top were fantastic and we really enjoyed it. The hike was challenging because of the steepness of the slope and rocky terrain. I highly recommend Green Expeditions to other travellers!

Very good experience. The guide was in shape and shown us different interested things. The only thing we didnt appreciate is that the guide left us way behind and was not there to show the right direction. We were all alone for half of the hike.

It was not easy hike, but worth it big time! Everything was very well organised by the Green Expedition, very generous coffee , sandwiches, granola bar, nuts , energy drink before the hike, I even didn’t take all of it, was too much:) They do provide 2 guides for the group of 10 people, guides are very nice, kind and smiley! If I have to recommend it worth every dollar to pay for this amazing expirience climbing Consepcion volcano in Ometepe! Thank you, Green Expedition! You are just perfect!

We had an amazing day. Our guide was very informative and experienced. Definitely not an easy hike though you need to be in excellent physical condition. We also had a great time exploring the island on the motorcycles. I would recommend staying on the island a couple of days because there is so much to see and do. I can’t wait to bring the family back next year.
