    My daughter selected Suzanne’s folklore tour to do for her eleventh birthday. It turned out to be an amazing experience, and it surpassed all expectations. When we arrived to meet Suzanne, she had baked banana bread and brewed some wild tea. What a great first impression! While she was so kind to all of us, she instinctively payed extra attention to our young daughter, who was captivated. Before we knew it, they were walking together like old friends. We learned about Irish sea lore, the landscape itself, and countless plants on a beautiful trail overlooking the sea. Suzanne was wonderful!

    Here with American Uni students and did this foraging tour as part of their class on Irish history and culture. This was incredibly informative and educational. Learned many new things on the relationship of the Irish to their landscape in the distant past. The traditional diet wasn't Guinness Stew with brown bread. We also learned some of the other uses for the plants, seaweeds, and animals in the Kinsale region, such as a natural gel produced by a common seaweed that acts as an effective sunscreen. Suzanne is incredibly knowledgable and an engaging presenter and takes you through some of the stunning beauty that few visitors to Kinsale get to see. Highly recommend!

    I wanted to treat my employees to a a real foodie experience in Kinsale Gourmet Capital of Ireland , Suzanne and the Tour Guides are absolutely amazing , very knowledgeable about the history of Kinsale , we had a real bonding experience, all the guys had such a great experience and tasted so many dishes , seafood and cheeses , food they wouldn't generally order when they are out in restaurants They loved the truffle cheese that was made locally and Chicken liver pate with Cumberland sauce on sourdough bread , it was a very casual , fun and really enjoyable , we wandered through the beautiful streets in Kinsale and visited the most famous restaurants and delis in the town . I would have no hesitation in recommending Kinsale Food Tours for any company outing that really wanted to treat their employees to something special

    We joined Suzanne recently for a gorgeous morning. It was 4 adults and 2 kids (3 and 5) and all ages were greatly entertained and minds expanded! This is an absolute must for anyone interested in food, culture, history, and biology, because it really covers it all and any age can be engaged. The kids couldn't get enough of tasting things plucked from nature around them, and being taught about safety at the same time! Suzanne was a delight to tour with--knowledgeable, informative, and warm. I was even telling local family who had never heard of it that they must give it a try because this sort of experience shouldn't be reserved for tourists alone.

    This is our third time to do Suzanne's food tour in Kinsale. This time we also included foraging. I was amazed at the depth of Suzanne's knowledge about the seaweeds and foods that can be found at the beach. The food at the restaurants and food stops was also fabulous! Our group loves doing the food tour, and look forward to it each time we return! Suzanne not only teaches a lot as she takes you on the food tour, she makes it lots of fun! We can't recommend this tour enough! Yummy food and lots of fun, learning and laughter!
