    We joined Davide and Sara for this experience early in May 2025. It was a very raining night so we had to be indoors, but that didn't dampen the evening at all. We enjoyed visiting with Davide and Sara and learn lots about the cuisine and culture of Puglia. Cooking with Davide was fun and informative. The meal that Davide created, with a little help from us, was absolutely delicious and definitely our favorite eating experience during our 7 week trip to Italy. We dined on delicious eggplant parmesan, orchiaetta pasta, local vegetables, creamy burrata cheese topped with olive oil & basil, bread baked in the trulli oven, and topped off with tiramisu. We have taken many cooking classes in Italy in the past 3-4 years, and this one is clearly at the top. We appreciated the communication with Sara previous to the class and her clear instructions on how to reach the location for the class and for the engaging conversation we enjoyed with her about Puglian culture/cuisine. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great dining experience and opportunity to learn about Puglian food.

    We were there with our family group of seven (all young adults), and Sara and Davide welcomed us brilliantly on arrival and showed us around their olive grove and the property (with a welcoming wine!). Then it was down to the business of making and cooking. We all had a go at making different shapes of bread and three types of pasta which at times was amusing when we looked at our efforts! But our lovely hosts were encouraging and helpful throughout. We were also involved in the pasta sauce making. The meal itself was magnificent. Everything was fantastic, and along with what we had helped make, Davide also whipped up some local vegetables, an eggplant parmigiana to die for, and a tiramisu. It really was a fun and interesting evening. Anyone nearby should take the opportunity to have a lunch or evening with two really lovely people who share their skills and local knowledge. Everyone loved it.

    We had a fantastic experience with Chef Davide and it was the highlight of our month-long holiday! We started off with a welcome drink of Prosecco and snacks and Chef shared his knowledge of the farm, the produce and the area. We shaped bread dough and put it in the wood fired oven in the Trulli and then made our pasta - orecchiette, and two other shapes of pasta - and a tomato sugo. It was such fun! The wine was flowing and good conversation and a few laughs were had. We then ate a multi-course meal, including the pasta we made, which was delicious! A must-do if you visit the area!

    The cooking class with Davide and Sara was truly next level—an unforgettable experience that went far beyond just learning recipes. From the moment we stepped into their beautiful kitchen, we were welcomed like family. Their warmth, passion, and authenticity made it feel like we were being treated to Sunday dinner at Nonna’s—full of love, laughter, and the most incredible food. We didn’t just cook—we experienced the heart of Italian culture. Every dish had a story, every ingredient was carefully chosen, and every step was filled with joy. Davide and Sara were exceptional hosts and teachers, guiding us through each recipe with patience, humour, and so much heart. The food we created together was absolutely delicious—easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. If you want a true taste of Italy—beyond the touristy experiences—this class is it. Warm, welcoming, soulful, and genuinely special. A must-do. Grazie mille, Davide and Sara!
