What to expect
Sebilj Fountain is a symbol of Sarajevo. A legend says: "Whoever drinks water from any of Sarajevo’s fountains and spouts will come to Sarajevo”. The Sebilj Fountain was built in 1753.
Kazandziluk
Kazandžiluk takes its name from the kazandžijas, master metalworkers and coppersmiths who first started producing kettles for the army and then later began making other copper vessels and items for everyday use (ewers, pitchers, coffee pots, metal table tops, trays). At the height of Ottoman Sarajevo’s “Golden Age”, coppersmiths were producing around a hundred different kinds of items.
We will see an amazing spot where Eastern and Western architectures are met and understand why Sarajevo is called Jerusalem of Europe.
Travelers will meet the coopersmith artist in his colorful shop. They will be introduced with his unique and long generation family business. Together, the travelers and the artist, will make a souvenir of Sarajevo out of copper. How cool is that?
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
