    I HIGHLY recommend this experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef is talented, friendly, and welcoming. The best money I spent on the island.

    The location was superb! The farmers gave a personal tour and explanation of the farm's history, current crop production, and goals for the future. Helmi's menus are always executed to near perfection. The wine paring and locally sourced foods are a delight to the palette. Joey and the other servers do a great job in creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for all guest. I highly recommend to make it to her functions while on Curacao.

    What a great experience! Every time we go Helmi Smeulders surprises us with her creative take on modern Caribbean food. She cooks with local ingredients in an innovative way. The food is perfectly paired with the greatest wines. This is your chance to meet the locals and enjoy delicious food.

    Gourmet cooking at its best in the most unpretentious setting you can imagine. Enjoy exquisite meals prepared with common Caribbean staples either surprisingly transformed and/or used in unexpected combinations yet so delicious. You also get plenty of opportunity to chat with Helmi who gladly shares her culinary secrets (who can ever re-create that deliciousness anyways...). Through Helmi I have discovered that several flowers that I have seen around all my life can not only be used as decoration when plating, but that they are actually edible. Every time again the Chef's Table is an unforgettable experience that you keep looking forward to for the next time.

    Every month Caribbean Spice Girl Helmi Smeulders impresses me with a 4,5 course dinner on the highest level of cooking! The different courses are always prepared of locally picked (vegetables, herbs) and freshly caught fish, meat from the Caribbean Sea and land. And paired with excellent wines. I think she is the first and only one in the world, who took the Caribbean Kitchen to a higher level. Very special and unique. She also wrote an amazing cooking book (The Joy of Caribbean Cooking). When on Curacao, you have to visit! AMUST for Foodies!
